I’m in the early stages of planning a backyard ADU and was told I’d need to bring in grading professionals first to level the lot and trench utilities. I’ve never dealt with this process before. Is it normal for one contractor to handle all of that, or do I need to hire separate crews? Trying to avoid project delays and surprise costs.
