OpenAI has launched a new API feature called Flex processing that allows users to use AI models at a lower cost but with slower response times and
occasional resource unavailability. MCP, an open-source standard, helps AI models generate more accurate and suitable responses to specific queries,
and lets developers create bidirectional links between data sources and AI applications like chatbots. The new models stand out from previous
reasoning models because they can use ChatGPT features like web browsing, coding, and image processing and generation. Flex processing is available in
beta on the o3 and o4-mini reasoning models for non-production tasks like model evaluations, data enrichment, and asynchronous workloads. After
introducing a data residency program in Europe in February, OpenAI has now launched a similar program in Asian countries including India, Japan,
Singapore, and South Korea.
That’s a problem when you’re using it to do your homework, sure, but when it accuses you of a crime you didn’t commit, that may well
at this point be libel. ChatGPT is AI-powered and utilizes LLM technology to generate text after a prompt. A chatbot can be any software/system that
holds dialogue with you/a person but doesn’t necessarily have to be AI-powered. A Brooklyn-based 3D display startup Looking Glass utilizes
ChatGPT to produce holograms you can communicate with by using ChatGPT.
